What materials are not allowed in the skip bins?

  • Asbestos or fibro
  • Food
  • Liquids, sludge or slurry (our bins have drainage holes)
  • Gas bottles, flammable containers
  • Hazardous chemicals including solvents, paints, acids, oils, grease traps etc.

How high can I fill the skip bin?

Please fill to the rim only to prevent spillage whilst being transported. This is very important as it is illegal to transport overloaded bins and your bin cannot be collected if overfull.

Where should the skip bin be located?

As a general rule, the skip bin needs to be placed on private property. This includes most driveways if they are within the boundaries of your property. You should also ensure there are no power lines or trees that may hinder the access and placement of the bin at time of delivery. Please note that if you need us to place the bin off your property, such as on a nature strip, you will need to check with your local council as you may require a permit.

How long can I keep the skip bin?

We usually allow for 1 week hire as we find this is enough time for most clean ups. If you require the bin for longer just let us know. Or, if you have filled the bin earlier, just call us and we will come and collect it.

How do I pay for the skip bin?

When you make your booking we will ask for your credit card over the phone for payment. We also accept cash payments to the driver upon delivery. Account applications are available for builders.
